Rita's Ice Crusted Happiness was opened in 1984 by a former firefighter named Bob Tumolo.  By 1987 his business had already grown to three stores, following the strict policy of, "If its 36 hours old, the ice is no good."

Rita's sells everything cold and icy, from ice cream, to Italian ice, fat free, and frozen custard.  With nearly a hundred flavors, there is an unlimited choice of tasty treats to chose from.  Rita's has a strict policy of making the customers just feel good.  Their aim is to present the customer with their frozen treat fast, and always with a smile.  Attempting to build a care-free atmosphere that allows the participant to just eat and relax.

This place was great!  I just recently moved here with my family, and I took my kids and they loved it.  It was a spectacular treat for the kids, they loved it, and we will probably go back for future birthdays.  They treated us so kindly, and there must have been 20 flavors for the Italian Ice alone!  They let my kids know that Mango was the most popular flavor, and we could see why.  We will be returning soon, it was so great, why wouldn't we?
